Description:
delivering with it mammoth battles that engulf a dozen cities around the world including New York, Paris and London.
Multiple sources have shared details of the game's story, art, sounds and game modes with Kotaku, noting that the game will reshape the landscape of the Call of Duty franchise, bringing an impressive number of eclectic settings, deep multiplayer gaming and a story that ties up nearly all loose ends from previous titles, including the final moments of key figures in the series' history.
While we haven't seen the game in action ourselves, we've gone to great lengths to nail down as much as possible the veracity of our sources. We believe that the imagery and chief details are accurate. That doesn't mean things can't change before release, but this appears to be a full run down of where Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software is on Modern Warfare 3 as they add the final polishing touches.
The Modern Warfare 3 Files: Exclusive First Details on the Biggest Game of 2011
The game opens moments after the cliffhanger ending of Modern Warfare 2 with the U.S. struggling to stave off a surprise Russian attack. The single-player campaign will ping-pong players around the world as they take on the multiple throwaway roles as a Russian Federal Protective Services agent, SAS Operative, tank gunner, and AC-130 gunner as well as key characters from previous installments and new recurring characters. The game will feature about 15 missions, kicking off with the invasion of Manhattan by a Russian force and wrapping up with a final encounter in Dubai.
The plot, as described, seems to be keeping with developer Infinity Ward's habit of delivering complex, short sequences punctuated by lots of gunfire and scene changes. The game also has players take control of several vehicles, returning gamers to the AC-130 gunship as a gunner and plopping them down in a tank as part of a U.S. Armored Division.
The Modern Warfare 3 Files: Exclusive First Details on the Biggest Game of 2011
The single-player campaign, which appears to wrap up most of the unanswered questions and Character fates of the first two Modern Warfare titles, also introduces new characters who appear to be destined for future Modern Warfare games, especially two Delta Force operatives codenamed "Frost" and "Sandman".
Multiplayer in the game returns with a chunky list of playable maps as well as two types of Spec Ops modes: "Survival" and "Mission".
Activision, the series' publisher, still hasn't officially unveiled any details about the game, though executives have said that a new Call of Duty game was coming this year. Last year's Call of Duty: Black Ops, developed by Treyarch, sold more than 7 million copies in the first 24 hours and within six weeks reached $1 billion in sales.
We've contacted Activision for comment and will update the story when and if they provide reaction.

Description:
"Fable III" is the latest installment to the action-packed and critically acclaimed Xbox 360 and Windows franchise that has sold more than six million copies. Fans new and returning will now embark on an epic adventure, where the race for the crown is only the beginning of your spectacular journey. Five decades have passed since the events of "Fable II," and Albion has matured into an industrial revolution, but the fate of the kingdom is at peril.

In "Fable III," you will be called upon to rally and fight alongside your people, ascend to the seat of power, and experience the true meaning of love and loss while defending your throne. In your quest to seize power and defend your kingdom, the choices you make will change the world around you, for the greater good or your own personal gain.

Who will you become? A rebel without a cause, the tyrant you rebelled against, or the greatest ruler to ever live?

Review:
As you might expect from Peter Molyneux's Lionhead, Fable 3 was always going to be a polished but flawed gem. It received generally positive reviews (including a four-star one from Greg) when released on the consoles last Autumn and now it's here for PC.
It tells the story of a Prince trying to liberate his kingdom from an evil brother and is basically a game of two parts. The first and longest part involves building a team of heroes capable of staging the rebellion. This is achieved by slowly building your wealth and powers, solving fetch & carry quests and interacting with the local townspeople.
In play, it's like a combination of Dungeon Siege and the Sega Dreamcast's Shen Mue. So, although there's plenty of repetitive hack-and-slash action, there's also the ability to earn money or invest in property to keep your coffers constantly ticking over.
Complete the main quests and the game switches dramatically to being one of moral or world-shaping choices rather than questing. It's a shift you will either love or feel strangely annoyed about – something fairly typical of Molyneux's maverick, slightly twisted approach to game design.
Some of the puzzles are intriguing. Early on, for instance, you have to act out a lost play before its ghostly author will release you and the treasure they hold. It's highly inventive stuff which makes the more formulaic quests (retrieve an item, beat a monster, etc) seem increasingly lazy.
In fact, Fable's greatest problem is that it sets such high standards in some areas that the gaps elsewhere seem all the more noticeable. The social interactions start off promisingly, but soon pale when you realise that you must belch, dance or whistle your way through almost every encounter. It's also a shame that your three main trades (blacksmith, pie-making or lute-playing) are basically the same mini-game with different animations.
Other niggles seem to have been ported over from previous console versions. Having to hold a key down until a little green circle fills up may be fine for Kinect users trying to avoid making accidental choices, but PC owners will find it an annoying two-second delay between almost every interaction. It's also irritating that you need to click to confirm adding any treasure to your infinite inventory – surely having to dig the damn thing up is confirmation enough.
Despite all this, Fable 3 aspires to greatness and finds it surprisingly often. There's a superb music score, deep (if formulaic) gameplay and literally hours of inventive storytelling played out by likes of John Cleese and Stephen Fry. If the series continues to develop at this pace, it will one day rival the mighty Final Fantasy ... just not quite yet.

Enjoy!

Review:
The racer is awarded with a 9/10 score in the latest magazine, which says that it "improves on its accomplished predecessor by focusing on the rallying aspect so crucial to past CMR titles... but doesn't shy away from moving the franchise into a new era by introducing the phenomenally entertaining gymkhana element".

OPM says that this marriage is managed "effortlessly", labelling the game "immense fun".

Writing in a glossy four-page review, complete with a special look at Dirt 3's first two hours, critic Joao Diniz Sanches adds that presentation is "impeccable", whilst on-track action is "constantly sizzling".

Slight gripes include occasionally "drone like" rivals, but overall the write-up is hugely positive, commenting that Dirt 3 offers "impeccable pick-up-and-play off-road enjoyment".
The score matches the 9/10 Dirt 3 review in the latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine, which called the racer "exceptionally beautiful".

Enjoy!
